As of 1 October 2016 many private pumping stations automatically transferred over to Anglian Water and became their responsibility. They have taken over all of the maintenance and the running costs too, saving customers hassle, worry and money.

The High Street will be closed on 1st July 2017 between 1000-1800, this is to enable the safety of all who participate in the street party and bread throwing competition.
